Have you ever thought about adding audio to your website or blog?  You should.  While great copy does a good job of selling your services and products, audio will amplify the effect of your words.

Audio gives you a more personal connection with your Web visitors.  Social psychologists tell us that humans are more likely to trust you if they can both see you and hear you.  And prospects are more likely to buy from those whom they feel they know, like, and trust.

So let's think about how you can build that instant rapport with your clients and prospects.

What Could A Real Estate Agent Do With Audio?

There are unlimited possibilities of what can be done with audio on websites and in e-mail, but here are five simple ideas to get you started.

1.  Greet Yours Sites Visitors.  Welcome first-time visitors to your site with your own voice.  It's a much warmer welcome than text alone.

2.  Create a Series of Audio Seminars.  Audio learning is hot!  Teach your audience via your voice instead of just words on the page.  Think about developing a series of mini-audio lessons for First Time Homebuyers.  Or, you could make series of seminars for Home Sellers and FSBO’s.  Your prospects could upload your audio to their MP3 Player and listen to YOU in their car.

3.  Create Audio Testimonials.  Chances are you probably have 5 to 10 people in your database right now, who have purchased a home from you in the past… have had a positive experience… and who would love to record an Audio Testimonial.  Think about the impact that would have on your site!  Prospects would hear raves from dozens of happy and satisfied clients!  Talk about instant credibility!

4.  Make Your Listings Talk.  It’s been said that people remember 70% more information when they here it versus 20% to when they just read it.  So, if I’m a prospect searching online for a property in a certain area… let’s say Glendale.  I’m more apt to remember the agent’s name who has a property for sale in Glendale and the agent who describes that particular property.

5.  Make Your E-mails Come Alive.  Liven up your e-mails by making them talk to your prospects, subscribers, and customers.  The members on your lists will feel like you are right there with them.  (And remember, it will be that personal connection that encourages people to list their home with you or choose you as their buyer’s agent).  Be the first in your area to do this, and watch your numbers rise!  Imagine, staying in touch with your past and present clients via an Audio Postcard.
